Christmas Brit bash

Well when someone knows how to throw an office party it just makes everyone else want to work at that office. It seems the Brits know how to do the Christmas party.
"Projectile vomiting is our birthright."
So it goes.

What's 1.5 trillion?

"All wars involve costs, and the war on terror is no exception,"
Who are these suits trying to kid.
Are the American voters all of a sudden dumber than dirt?

holy shoot

Well just when we thought the Govt. was making some kind of progress in our little Middle East morass, we find out that some smart business types in Iraq are running an arsenal close out. Crazy Kassim, he is some kind of capitalist. I stack em' deep to sell em' cheap.
I wonder what else is gonna surface in the next ten or so years as our military machine spreads freedom all over the middle east.

Divine Nigella

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the divine Nigella last night at her book signing at Sur La Table in Dallas. It was a six o'clock signing and she arrived promptly and through the front door. For so many that think persons on Television are just manufactured and layered with make-up, everyone in attendance agreed that she was as lovely and effervescent as she appears on T.V.
What a delight to meet the incredible and wonderful Nigella in person and to have her sign my copy of her latest book: Nigella Express.

About time

Well it is about time that the suits in D.C. overturn something and earn their pay. Maybe it's a little too late? For most Americans I think it is not enough.
Hey, and is China trying to poison American children??
Aqua Dots??

exxonian profit

Well what is good for exxonmobil must be good for America.
With it's largest annual profit for an American company of $39.5 billion, I wonder how much the execs at exxon will pocket and how much the entry-level employee will get.

$10.6 billion please

Well in addition to the colossal amounts of tax-payer money we are dumping into Iraq what's another $10.6 billion?
It seems the American tax-payer has deep pockets that we somehow forgot we had.
Since 2001 the U.S. has provided over $14.2 billion in aid to Afganistan.
I wonder how much the American tax-payer can afford.
Whatever happened to the idea of raising monies via War Bonds?
So it goes.

Fordless

I find it quite ironic that Ford Motor Company reported such a huge loss recently while the oil corporations reported such incredible profits recently.
I wonder if these two are somehow connected?
Here's an idea:
Produce more fuel-efficient cars, trucks and S.U.V.'s.
So it goes.

Clinton in

The news is out. Clinton is in the Presidential race. The quote I read I think was funny. "And I'm in to win."
Well excuse me but isn't everyone that is in any race in it to win it?
Maybe the suits in D.C. are too blinded by their own greatness, to realize that the average American knows that when in competition you are making your best effort to win first place.
So it goes.
