Holy Toledo

TOLEDO, Oct. 15 -- A crowd protesting a white supremacists' march Saturday turned violent, throwing baseball-sized rocks at police, vandalizing vehicles and stores, and setting fire to a neighborhood bar, authorities said.

At least two dozen members of the National Socialist Movement, which calls itself "America's Nazi Party," had gathered at a city park to march under police protection. Organizers said they were demonstrating against black gangs they said were harassing white residents.

So the Nazi party had police protection to march. What city hall moron approved that tax expenditure? Well I guess everyone has a right to protest and they should have police protection so they may incite riots and political unrest.

Well, the Nazi's didn't exactly have police protection for themselves specifically. The police were there because they knew there would be trouble, and they were hoping to perhaps prevents some of it. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and that didn't happen.

I know everyone has the right to free speech. But, to see these people in my very own country with their swastikas makes my blood run cold. They scare me. I know there are plenty of 'em round here along with KKK and everything else. We've had similar situations in the vicinity of Harrisburg. I would stand any day with my Jewish, black, and Puerto Rican brothers and sisters before I'd stand shoulder to should with this "nazis."

The funny thing is that the gangs and other unlawful individuals did all the damage not the neo inbreds. No matter how much these types of people make my stomach churn and blood boil; in the US they have just as much a right to freedom of speech as CAIR, the mouth piece for the Religion of Peace.

Thanks to everyone that commented. The irony of this situation always makes me shake my head.
